How does Wayshare handle uneven splits?
Give any person their own amount — the rest of the expense divides equally among everyone else. Totals always add up to the cent, so nobody quietly absorbs the rounding.
Can we pay in different currencies?
Yes. Enter an expense in any currency and it converts to the trip's base currency at that day's European Central Bank rate, locked at entry so balances never drift.
Do my friends need to install anything or create an account?
No. Invite them with a link and they can be included in splits right away — they only need an account if they want to sign in and see balances themselves.
How much does it cost?
Creating a trip, inviting the group, splitting expenses and settling up are free — no card required.
